Training: Level 2 - Operation of Huffman Specific Models
Objective
Provide the student with skills to set-up the machine, dress wheels, call and edit programs, produce programs, apply offsets, adjust the process and produce production parts.

Customers who have gained Level I knowledge either through Huffman training or on their own.

Provide advanced operation training for Huffman specific grinder and laser cladding systems. This class builds on Level I training, focusing on:
Topics Common to Grinder and Laser
Axes configuration, control model, calibration, axis grid explanation, machine set-up and fixturing, G offsets, fixture offsets, communication, peripheral devices and other topics.
Topics Specific to Grinder
Wheel offsets, wheel dressing, wheel measuring, probing, coolant delivery and placement, interpreting error messages, M codes and more.
Topics Specific to Lasers
Laser technology (beam properties and how/why it works), beam alignment, camera alignment, optic care and cleaning, interpreting error messages, using AutoCLAD, laser parameters, M codes and more.
