Huffman Corporation Expands Pre-owned Machine Offering

As a service to new and existing customers, Huffman Corporation has increased its inventory of pre-owned Huffman CNC grinding, laser cladding and waterjet machines.  According to Doug Childers, Aftermarket Manager, pre-owned equipment “is a great, cost-effective way to offer immediate production capacity to our established customers, or, enable start-up companies to procure equipment on a limited budget”. 

“Two recent successes come to mind; one in the flight turbine market and one in the medical prosthetic market”, adds Childers.  Both examples are start-up businesses already considering additional pre-owned Huffman machinery.  Huffman’s pre-owned inventory is available for purchase or lease.

Offering only their machinery, Huffman is not in the broader used machine business.  “We are always seeking alternative ways to help customers procure Huffman equipment”, says Childers.  He adds “We are the original OEM; having the expertise to perform a comprehensive factory rebuild and add technology upgrades with the backing of engineering, inventory, installation and training resources.  Confidence in our pre-owned equipment is reflected in our warranty – something that is generally not available from a used dealer.”  Process development and tooling services compliment the machine sale resulting in a turn-key package that is quickly producing parts in the customer’s factory.
