HC-205 Laser System

The Huffman HC-205 Five-Axis Laser Powder Fusion Welder produces dramatic cost savings with improved productivity at a fraction of the process time of conventional methods.

Designed for hardfacing components and resurfacing worn aerospace engine components, the Huffman HC-205 produces dramatic cost savings with improved productivity, superior material deposition, reducing consumption of filler material and minimal finishing.

The fully automated system combines integrated vision, CO2 laser, Huffman powder metal delivery with three, four or five axes of motion under full control. The system also controls laser power, assist gas, powder flow parameters and machine motion speeds. This turnkey, operator-friendly system is easily adapted to cell configurations.
